La Lucia Mall is an exclusive shopping destination situated on the beautiful East Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Offering a wide range of over 130 international, national and local retail, restaurants and service related businesses under one roof, the mall is conveniently located in the heart of La Lucia.

La Lucia Mall was one of the very first shopping centres built in KwaZulu Natal and opened it’s doors for trading in 1974 with Pick ‘n Pay supermarket as it’s anchor tenant. Pick ‘n Pay, Woolworths, Edgars, Dischem and Foodlovers Market now anchor this small Regional Mall. Some of the international brands include Accessorize, The Body Shop, Crabtree & Evelyn, Havaianas, Le Creuset, L’occitane en Provence, Pandora and Sunglass Hut. 

The centre has since undergone six extensions and refurbishments, keeping pace with the rapid residential and commercial growth of the La Lucia / Umhlanga Ridge areas to provide an upmarket shopping destination for the local North Durban community and tourists. The centre continues to attract LSM 9 – 10 plus shoppers from its primary and secondary catchment areas.The mall provides 1400 free parking bays, 780 undercover pay parking bays, spacious exhibition courts, chill out zones, as well as ample parking and facilities for special needs shoppers.

PARKING

We have 1400 open parking bays and 780 secure undercover parking bays.

One and a half hours of free undercover parking is offered for Pick n Pay customers, and one hour for Dis-Chem customers. Standard Bank customers are offered courtesy parking for half an hour.

Designated parking bays close to centre entrances also available for wheelchair users, frail and disabled customers, parents with infants or mothers-to-be.

SECURITY

La Lucia Mall has very strict security measures in place to ensure the safety of our shoppers at all times. The mall has CCTV cameras with trained controllers monitoring the footage from the control room. In addition the mall has security officers and car guards, senior security supervisors and managers patrolling the mall and car parks 24/7 for your safety.
