Russell High 140 Year Celebration

Dear RHOG’S (Russell High Old Girls), friends and family,

It is Russell High’s 140^th Birthday and we are launching our 10 year campaign to restore the building, equip the classrooms for today’s curriculum and build a bursary fund to grow girls’ education in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal. So here is how it is happening:

• Saturday 18 May 2019

08h30 –  Main pedestrian gate open, R20 entry fee   (Free entry for all Old Girl paid their R200                              membership – and you can pay at the door!)

•  09h00 – RHOG Reunion Assembly
• After Assembly wander through the school,  Art Exhibition, Market stalls – locally made fashion  and décor items.
• 10h30 – “Everyone for Tea” High Tea served in the Azalea Room and gardens  (R75 per head        R100 a couple)
• 11h00 – The School will be open to the public
• Exciting entertainment being lined up – Opera Singer Bongiwe Madlala and the Caledonian Pipe Band to name a few 🙂

So come one, come all. Call your classmates, family and friends and celebrate your wonderful school. And remember if your partner or children or friends have never seen your old school – this is their chance and you can show them around!
