Hand-picked successor sweeps to victory in Kazakhstan vote

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took 70.8% of the vote in Sunday's election, the Central Election Commission said, with his nearest rival, opposition candidate Amirzhan Kosanov, taking 16.2%.
